Jason is an active member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association and holds an AKBD certification. In addition, he has also contributed to the American Institute of Architects (AIA). In 2015, Jason authored his second, and most recent, AIA Certified continuing education presentation titled, “Redefining The American Kitchen”.
As a sales professional, Jason’s verifiable track record of successfully increasing sales and capturing market share propelled his career to an executive level. As the former VP of Sales & Marketing at Rutt Handcrafted Cabinetry, Jason mentored his sales team, as well as designers and industry leaders, guiding them with a comprehensive understanding of different client business models, instilling a relationship-driven philosophy, and positioning the dealer as an expert in their market.
An influencer among his peers, Jason approaches sales with a consultative technique.With career achievements spanning from skilled cabinetmaker, designer and engineer to national account manager and sales/marketing executive, Jason approaches the industry with enthusiasm for all facets of the business. He contributes a uniquely deep and holistic knowledge of the industry to his customers, with a gift for evaluating a business’s needs and capabilities. Jason’s customers benefit with highly successful onboarding, coaching, and sustainable business plans.
Founding partner of Dovetails Sales, David Roos, is an industry expert with more than 35 years of successful experience in multiple disciplines within the kitchen and bath industry. Upon finishing his education at Towson State University, David joined the family business, Roos Kitchens, where he practiced kitchen design and sales in the Baltimore/Washington market and ultimately managed the daily operations when he became president of the firm in 1996.
In the year 2000 David entered the supply side of the industry where he has held sales, marketing, and executive positions including General Manager and VP of Sales & Marketing of Rutt HandCrafted Cabinetry. It was during this time that David drew upon his experience and fed his desire to educate and influence kitchen designers and the various types of kitchen dealer business models. David was recognized as an Ambassadors Club Inductee by the NKBA in 1988 and served as Chapter President of the Baltimore/Washington Chapter of the NKBA in 1987-88.
